Urban Parks And Open Spaces
Description‘Urban Parks and Open Spaces’ is a catch all category, covering a very wide range of green areas in Brighton & Hove – from the formal squares of the seafront to the small, green oases scattered through the suburbs. CityWildlife includes a wide selection of these, but there are probably many more – if your local open space is missing, please see below. Brighton & Hove City Council manages about 1,100 hectares (2,354 acres) of parks and green spaces and there are many others in private ownership but with informal public access. For more information see the parks and green spaces section of the council's website. If your local Urban Park/Open Space is not included in CityWildlife, please let us know. You can e-mail the CityWildlife team at citywildlife@brighton-hove.gov.uk. |
